If true: If a true Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction, then aspirin (if no contraindications) may help with inflammation. There is a risk of developing shock, so seek urgent care if feeling dizzy/foggy, unable to produce urine, chest pain or extreme palpitations, shaking chills etc. Another possibility is allergic reaction to the antibiotic so discuss with a physician sooner than later.
