A fracture typically: will show in an xray although a nonidsplaced fracture can be hidden if at an angle away from the xray. Cartilage issue and joint injury will not show on xray, MRI will show these but the most important along with imaging studeis is a good clinical exam . Symptoms, exam findings and imaging together help a treatment plan to be formulated
