Good: if it works, then use it! steroids are preferably not used longterm, but this is a "topical" steroid for the intestine. there are other things to consider when choosing therapy for IBD, talk to your gastroenterologist

Follow-up: Follow-up with your gastroenterologist. He/she would most likely try to taper and discontinue the Entocort, and start you on a maintenance drug, if you are not on that already.
