Here are some...: HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) is another option of treating clinically localized prostate prostate cancer, has been commonly utilized in the Europe, but not in the US yet, hopefully soon be available. and has comparable outcome as all currently options - surgery, radiation, brachytherapy (seed implant), or cryotherapy (freezing), but it is still not a magic bullet.

Excellent option: HIFU is still considered experimental in the US, although performed everywhere else in the world. Currently, I bring patients just outside the US to perform the procedure. The patients who undergo HIFU have a much higher satisfaction score than people who choose other treatment options. SPecifically, it improves your rates of maintaining your erection. see more at www.hifuny.com
