TREATMENT: If you are refer to Glioblastoma Multiforme it is treated surgically then followed by concurrent radiation + temodar (temozolomide) (oral chemotherapy) for 42 days. This is then followed by single agent temodar (temozolomide) but at a higher dose 5 days every 28 day x 6 months. Talk to your oncologists regarding your specific case.

Depends on type: There are many different types of brain tumors. These range from relatively benign (meningiomas) to highly aggressive (glioblastomas). The survival depends on the type of tumor. I'm sure that a neurosurgeon or oncologist, who know the type in question, would be able to be more specific.
