Possible : Even if your gallbladder is removed, you can still develop stones in you bile duct or remnant of the cystic duct.

NO: as gall bladder was removed , but some times only was drained the infection ( cholecystostomy ) then will show GB with stones . Retained stones may be present in the ducts .
