A member asked:

I'm 10 days past my expected period and no signs of it coming, but several pregnancy tests are negative. i'm not on birth control. what is going on?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No ovulation: Ovulation brings on a period 2 weeks later, so if your period is late and pregnancy test negative, that means that you didn't ovulate this month. It's often due to stress, but may be from other things. If you wish to be pregnant, I would see your doctor. Otherwise, you could wait and see if your period comes or you get symptoms (maybe you ovulated late).
