Get serious: Use topical benzoyl peroxide as tolerated through the month, and a salicylic acid wash. If you do get acne at the time of your period, get with your physician who can add something prescription-strength to manage it. You may be a candidate for spironolactone or a form of the oral contraceptive pill that will slow this down.
