What are magenstrasse and mill gastroplasty?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Folding stomach: This is a procedure to form the stomach into a small tube by stapling or folding and sewing it. It is prone to breakdown, however, and a better restrictive weight loss procedure is called the sleeve gastrectomy, where 3/4 of the stomach is removed to create the same small tube-like stomach. It is in between a lapband and a gastric bypass in its effectiveness for weight loss, about 60% at 2 years.
