A member asked:

Can you give someone gonorrhoea from rimming them or is it killed by saliva first?

Saliva does not kill: Gonorrhea can live in the mouth. It is not the most likely transmission fluid, but it is not a safety factor either. Use condoms and oral dams and appropriate protection for any and all sexual contact - especially if there is any chance that you or your partner might have been exposed to an STD. That's for real!

Gonorrhea: To transmit gonorrhea the infected tissue has to touch the tissue that can become infected in your partner. Your lips or tongue are unlikely to carry infectious gonorrhea.
