Anovulation ?: irregular menses can be due to several factors. First always want to rule out pregnancy. If on birth control it may be related to that. If not irregular ovulation, or anovulation, evaluate include thyroid function, prolactin issues, rule out eating disorders or bleeding disorders. good place to start and rule out other issues related to your uterus including the presence of fibroids or polyps.
