A member asked:

What can i do about withdrawl pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Withdrawal from ?: I assume you are talking about opiates. Use of tylenol (acetaminophen) or NSAIDs like Ibuprofen or Naproxen will reduce pain, as will hot baths, hot back, hot showers. Massage and acupuncture can also help. If withdrawal symptoms are severe and you are at risk of relapse, get help with medically assisted withdrawal. Many meds, like clonidine, Buprenorphine and Methadone can help short or long-term.Get support!
