Shouldn't be: You shouldn't be embarrassed to go to a doctor for that. Depending on what the "pattern" looks like and where it is, it'd be hard to know what it is. Could be due to shaving, rubbing/chafing of clothes, dry skin, etc.

Bikini rash/lesions: Without knowing more history or a picture of the lesions it will be hard to diagnose. If this occurred after having sex the obvious concern is that this may be STI. You should find a physician to show as this may be something that will severely impact you. Remember we doctors are trained to handle specifically conditions such as yours and professional about personal issues.
