Be honest: At least you should be honest to your doctor. You are not supposed to share medication with others, especially controlled substances. Klonopin (clonazepam) is one of them. It will cause you and your friends to be in trouble. There may be other options for medication other than metoprolol. Good luck!

Be honest: Let your doctor know that you made a mistake and took someone else's medicine. Honesty is the most important part of the doctor-patient relationship.
