Endodontic treatmnet: Both those countries have socialized medicine. If you can get the treatment done - remember its rationed care- then payment is made to the doctor directly and is based on schedules set up by the government. Its getting the treatment that is the issue and also getting it in a suitable time frame.

I think about $146: The best information i could find (i'm based in the U.S.) so i'm not too familiar stated that they would pay $146-approx $200 depending on the tooth in england. I'm really not sure how accurate that is.
