Irritant?: If you live in an arid area, it may be from dry skin. This causes itching and your constant rubbing and peeling of the scales (I just presume) just perpetuate it. Try some Hydrocortisone cream on it for a few days then apply moisturizer on area after washing your face regularly thereafter. Let me know if this works for you If you were a man , I would have guess allergic reaction to aftershave.
