Serial Fetal Ultra-: sounds will be done to look for Intrauterine Growth Restriction & other determinants of fetal well-being or lack thereof, especially in the smaller twin. IUGR can be from fetal, placental or maternal disorders. Depending on the timing & severity, other studies can be done both prenatally & after delivery in an infant who is Small for Gestational Age to search for genetic & other medical causes.
