GO TO ER NOW: While this could be an allergic reaction to the mesh, sutures, cleaning solution, it is also very possible of a post-op skin infection called "scalded skin". This can be life-threatening very quickly and if that is what it is needs immediate attention. Go to ER now - don't wait until Doc office opens in morning - the hours could save your life.

Location?: Is this rash localized to the site of the repair? If so, it may just be an allergic reaction to the anti-septic or adhesive. If generalized, rush to ER.

I was exposed to severe sun in Thailand on Thursday. I got sunburned, however I treated my sunburn with aloe vera. However today I broke out in to a rash on the sun exposed areas. Its extremely itchy with small bumps blisters. I also feel abit fluish?
I got severe blistering sunburn on my shoulders from being in very high UV at high elevation, will I just be at much greater risk of developing skin cancer on my shoulders or am I at much greater risk for developing it in unexposed areas too?
