Need examination: a lump that disappears most likely a hernia, see your doctor for examination. If it is arising from testicle must see a physicians.

Scrotal mass: I can think of no abnormality or mass in the scrotum which is affected by erections. I would recommend that you be evaluated with physical examination by a urologist
