Some meds can: Cause change in stool color. Iron is one such drug. Also food coloring , jello , spinach are some foods that can cause the change.

Light stool color every so often. No pain. No blood. No issues. Light but still brown, not yellow or green and solid. Just concerned because its not the common darker brown. Fairly healthy diet, no alcohol. Omeprazole occasionally, have IBS?
