Sometimes: Depending upon the procedure and the surgeons training, you will recieve general anesthesia or IV conscious sedation. This is reviewed at the consultation. The surgeon may do this in his office or sometimes in a hospital. Your medical history, overall health, and level of difficulty of extraction will determine the course.
