What does it mean to have blocked fallopian tubes?

Fallopian tubes: Once ovulation occurs and the egg is released from the ovarian follicle, it enters the uterus through the fallopian tubes. If the tubes are blocked, the egg can't get in. It may therefore cause infertility.
