A member asked:

For a tendon tear. is it ok to walk on a torn posterior tibial tendon without a huge amount of pain or would it be something else?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tough problem.: Pt tendon is our strong stabilizer of the foot and ankle. Without it, you can't go on your toes and your foot significantly flattens down in the inside arch. The longer you allow it to function that way, the worse your foot will feel, look and function. Many Podiatrists in your area. Go have it checked if you haven't yet.
