Pain control: Motrin for children is good for teething so the child as well as his/her parents can get a good night of sleep!

Cold: Topical helps a bit but you don't need baby ingesting that stuff much. Infant Motrin or tylenol (acetaminophen) can help with some of the symptoms but something firm and chewy and likely cold will be likely to help as well. The more they chew the sooner the tooth will cut through.
