Get more sleep: If you are referring to the sensation of falling as you are falling asleep, this may be related in part to prior sleep deprivation. The brain is rapidly descending into deeper stages of sleep. This can also at times be associated with a quick movement (aka hypnic jerk). This can be normal. Try to get more sleep and see if continues. If so, and is interfering with falling asleep, contact doctor.
