Will smoking affect the result i get from taking the antibiotic trimethoprim (200 mg)?

Smoking: Trimethoprim an antibiotic probably is for short time. 10 days or so. Smoking itself does not alter its Pharmacokinetics, but if you already have compromised lungs, the answer would be yes.. it will have its effect However I stand to be corrected.
