Yes: The Essure stents are safe, non-hormonal , and provide excellent sterilization without the need for general anesthesia or surgical incisions. I would consider it healthy and a popular option for permanent sterilization. My patients love it and have no complaints. Most of the Hospital Nurses take advantage of this procedure since it's done easily in the office.
