Mouth rinses: All mouth rinses only mask and offer temporary relief, at best, for bad breath. The cause, dental or medical or both have to be addressed for maintaining a fresher breath. Start by seeing your dentist for an evaluation and advice.

Regardless, what kind of mouthwash is used, the best way to get rid of bacteria: floss and brush teeth and clean the tongue twice a day. Also see your dentist on the regular basis at least 2X a year.
