Stomach rest: You may have had stomach flu (vomiting or vomiting + diarrhea, abdominal pain, etc.). If that was a one time incident, drink fluids if you can keep them down, go to blend diet (bananas, crackers, steamed rice) for the rest of the day and see how you are feeling then. Slowly return to normal provided there is no repeated vomiting or abdominal discomfort.
