A doctor has provided 1 answer

Rehabilitation specialist: A physiatrist is a physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist. Those physicians are primarily hospital or private practice-based, and specialize in the recovery of patients with stroke, spinal cord injury, joint replacement, osteoarthritis, or any other medical condition which might require multidisciplined therapy. They prescribed medication, direct therapy, perform EMGs, and perform disability ratings, in addition to many other roles.
