Possible: It wouldn't hurt to take a pregnancy test. A light period with positive pregnancy test can sometimes happen with impending miscarriage or ectopic (pregnancy outside the uterus.) If you are not pregnant, gastrointestinal illness, or even endometriosis (condition where uterine lining tissue also grows in the pelvic) may be to blame. See your provider to clarify.
