Could be RLS: Consider restless leg syndrome, which feels like uncomfortable sensations in the legs when sitting or more likely when lying down or relaxing, worse at night and usually gone in the morning. Moving the legs relieves the discomfort. If it's more cramp-like, there are many causes including over-exercising, pregnancy, not enough potassium, dehydration, certain drugs, and cold temps.
