A member asked:

What are the health problems from using butrans pain patches for many years?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Butrans: Butrans is an opioid medication...in the same family as OxyContin, morphine, Percocet, etc. you can build up a tolerance to these, which means that with time you will need more for the same effect. You can also build up a dependence on them. If you are under the care of a pain clinic/doctor, they should monitor this for you.
