What does a diagnosis of papule on the skin mean? how common are they? ( papule was pink and soft. )

Description: Papule is a descriptive term. Skin lesions are called macules if these are not palpable. papules if slightly raised and palpable, nodule if larger and form visible masses. The diagnosis would depend on related findings and would require an examination.
