Keep hydrated: If dry tongue persists after stopping beta alanine, there could be another cause. Blood tests could help with diagnosis and treatment. generally avoid Amino Acids and drink plenty of fluids.

Dry tongue: Probably a side effect of the amino altered amino acid, beta alanine, that you are taking. Stop the supplement, which your body probably doesn't need anyway, and see if symptoms disappear. If so, you have your answer, beta alanine is harmful for you. If symptoms persist after stopping the OTC, see your General Physician or an ENT specialist for an evaluation.
