Nosebleeds: can be dramatic even though they're common. The anterior bleeding usually comes from a small blood vessel at the front part of the nose. The trauma inside the nose (nose picking) or repeated irritation from a cold, can cause a nosebleed. It has nothing to do with taking birth control pills. Rec.: see your PCP for more information.
