Medicine and Sex: First, most physicians may just assume you are sexually active and not think for a moment about whether or not you are. Second, physicians know that 'virginitiy' is in no way related to medicine or science; that the lack of a hymen is not diagnostic of anything medical. Third it is not up to physicians to arbitrate morality and any physician will know this well and should treat you with dignity.
