Hopefully,: The past is the past. It may actually be a very good thing for the doctor to know that you've survived difficulties you had. Hopefully this will be a happy time for you, but it will also be stressful at times. Knowing to help you through those times is good for the dr. And you and the baby. Doctors see and hear more things than you can imagine. They should be supportive, not judgemental. Best!

Congratsn on: Overcoming your past self-injury behavior. Think of it as an accomplishment when you go to your doc. Tell him/her about it. He/she has seen lots of things and your health and that of your baby is the main issue. Don't let past behavior stop you from present good choices. Think of baby and not yourself. Peace and good health.

Pregnant: If self injury is in the past just be honest with your doctor. He/she needs that info. He will probably say "good for you, you got it under control." You. need to be as honest and forthcoming with your doctor as possible for the health of you and your baby.
