Needs re-evaluation: Things definitely have changed. You now have a toddler with pain and fever that were not previously present. I would be worried about the possibility of pneumonia in a toddler with cough, fever and belly pain. They often complain about belly with pneumonia, as they do with strep throat. Your youngster needs to see the doctor again tomorrow to see if anything new has developed. Yeast belly - no.

Your child must be evaluated as soon as possible. The pain and fever may be related to an infection, appendicitis, abscess or another cause. Yeast is not likely related. Asthma which is uncontrolled may result in cough, but does not cause fever. Abdominal muscles may be strained if there is respiratory distress, but other causes should be excluded. Watch for rapid breathing, vomiting and lethargy.
