Depends: Have been around people smoking weed in addition to your use about 5 months ago? How long is your hair? Did you get your hair cut recently to have removed the hair that formed 5 months ago? If is unlikely that one time use will show positive result but there are other issues as mentioned above.

Passing: Is a relative term like "passing" a urine test. The problems inherent in hair testing is in dating the substance use. This becomes a legal bag of worms which is why federal testing has yet to utilize it. There are a myriad of unanswered legal questions.
