Compression: There was a time when post sclerotherapy I recommended wearing compression for 6 weeks. Over the years I have realized that this is just not necessary. I recommend wearing compression for only 48 hours post sclerotherapy and I have seen no difference in the results with wearing stockings for 6 weeks or 2 days. Even in hot weather, 2 days can be tolerated.
