Allergic reaction: This sounds like an allergic reaction ( angioedema) to something you ate. Swelling of the lip ( angiedema) should never be ignored, since another exposure to the offending agent can cause a more severe allergic reaction. Make an appointment with you physician. Stop antibacterial cream and use Benadryl (diphenhydramine) until seen.
