If prostate biopsys can do any type of harm why are they still doing them?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Relatively safe: Procedure , in few can develop complication like sepsis , bleeding etc you have to discuss with your doctor , biopsy is 'still 'needed to confirm the diagnosis , to evaluate the status of tumor , like its aggressiveness invasion to capsule etc
