What does cloudy and dark urine mean especially during 1st tri. pregnancy. she has a catheier in for 2weeks?

Cloudy urine: Couldy urine indicated infection that should be promptly treated with appropriate antibiotics by your doctor.

CATHETER = INFECTION: Any catheter in place will result in a urinary infection after a week off antibiotics and you almost certainly have a UTI after 2 weeks even iy you are on antibiotics. Cloudy & dark urine are also most often associated with utis. Thus catheter should be removed as soon as possible. Intermittent catheterization can be instituted if you are unable to void + appropriate antibiotics. Good luck.
