I know someone who is pregnant and has a cathetr in. now she may an have infection what should she do?

Rx infection, Cath?: The first question is why does this pregnant woman have that required catheterization. Is she in her last trimester? Something is causing obstruction of urinary flow, so catheter was placed. The longer it is in the more likely an infection sets in. So, needs antibiotic rx, and underlying problem corrected, so that the foreign object can be removed from the bladder.
