Black stool : Black tarry stool can be from old blood in your digestive tract. Please have your stool and colon checked by your physician.

Black stool particle: Black pieces of stool can be due to iron, peptobismol or blood leaking from high in the GI tract. A occult blood test can easily be done to see if there is blood products in your stool.
