What test diagnoses an overractive bladder?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

See answer: Overactive bladder (oab) is a symptom complex that is characterized by urinary urgency, with or without urge incontinence, associated with urinary frequency and nocturia in the absence of pathologic or metabolic conditions that may cause or mimic oab. Diagnosis is made by a thorough history, physical exam, urinalysis, post-void residual urine, and voiding diary. Urodynamics and cystoscopy optional.
