Taking Latuda (lurasidone): Lurasidone works in the brain to treat schizophrenia. It is also known as a second generation antipsychotic (SGA). It rebalances dopamine & serotonin to improve thinking, mood, & behavior. Reduces Symptoms of schizo. Hallucinations & Delusions- beliefs that are not true. Latuda increase the risk of wt. gain, high blood sugar, & increase hemoglobin A1c . MD must check blood.

Latuda. I haven't: used Latuda - but patient's have. Results were good. Latuda is an atypical antipsychotic medication. Latuda has FDA indications for use with Schizophrenia & for depressive episodes with Bipolar I Disorder. It can be used as monotherapy or as adjunct with lithium or depakote.
