A member asked:

Can you tell me if someone had a blood test for h. pylori and scored 1.02 out of a possible 0-99 should this person be treated with antibiotics?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

What for?: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Having said that, from the information you provided it is not feasible to know if the person has any disease. What would you expect the antibiotics to do?
