Can you tell me if sodium valproate lowers a fetuses iq does it mean it lowers my own when i take it?

Valproate Sodium: There is no evidence that valproate sodium decrease fetal IQ. When administered in pregnancy, there is a risk of fetal malformations: spina bifida, epicanthal folds, flat nasal bridge, small upturned nose, long philtrum, and thin upper lip. Less commonly it causes heart defects, oral clefts, genital abnormalities, and limb defects. The risk is 2-5%.
